Come join our story circle!
and story listeners
in North Texas for over 25 years,
the Dallas Storytelling Guild
hosts a Story Circle from
7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
on the 2nd Wednesday
of every month
at The Point.
The Dallas Storytelling Guild story circles are open to the public. Feel free to come, listen and even participate. Many tellers use the Story Circle for practice and feedback as they work to bring a story to life. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn from the experiences of our more-seasoned members. And yes, school-age children are always welcome!
The Dallas Storytelling Guild presents programs at a number of local venues and community events including our annual Ghost Tales at the Bath House during the Halloween season; Legends, Yarns & Fables at Dallas Heritage Village; and storytelling classes for the Richland College Emeritus Program.
The Dallas Storytelling Guild is a 501(c)3 organization.
Our Story Circle meets at The Point, located on the campus of C.C. Young - 4847 W. Lawther Drive. The Point, a "cultural community without walls", is designed as a gathering place for residents of C.C. Young and community friends. Overlooking White Rock Lake, this new, light-filled facility offers options for meetings, classes and performances. Come - be a part of this exciting experience!
